FUEGUIA 1833 is made for connoisseurs on the lookout for true values and deeply rooted traditions.
With this story I would like to spirit you away to the rich, fragrant culture of Argentina. FUEGUIA is one of the brands that has been there from the beginning of our Spitzenhaus adventure, and has grown with us along the way. Over the years, Julian Bedel, founder of Fueguia and also its perfumer, has become a friend of our enterprise. A lively exchange about projects has always been a part of our business relationship, as has our exclusive status as the only official sales point permitted to offer the comprehensive Fueguia collection for sale, outside of the brand’s own boutiques in Buenos Aires – José Ignacio – London – México – Milano – New York – Seoul – Tokyo- Paris and Chile.

I first met Julian in Florence, years before Spitzenhaus opened its doors. I still have vivid memories of us standing in the lobby of the Savoy Hotel sampling the Fueguia perfumes, first taking a whiff then spraying them on the skin. At some point we «ran out of skin» and started to spray the scents on our ankles. You can imagine the confounded looks of the other hotel guests.

When the Spitzenhaus project entered its final phase, it was clear to me that this brand should definitely take a special place in our store.

Among the many Fueguia scents the MUSKARA collection deserves special attention. Muskara is a comprehensive collection of fragrance impressions. What they all have in common is an exclusive basis of absolutely unique pheromone molecules. Pheromones are messenger substances. They send olfactory signals that make the wearer more attractive for the receivers of the message. These substances have their very own rhythm of movement and surround us like an invisible, magical aura. Each of these six new variations contains a special selected element that creates a completely novel perfume experience.

The ambitious fragrance project The Spirit has again put the Fueguia perfume brand in the global spotlight.
None other than mighty heritage brand Rolls-Royce Motorcars approached Julian Bedel of Fueguia to propose a collaborative effort. Far from ending in the usual profane license agreement, The Spirit became an exclusive, disruptive project – the first of its kind in the industry.
Julian Bedel knew right away that a collaboration of this ultra-high caliber would call for a whole new approach and special attention paid to the manual craft tradition of the Rolls-Royce brand. When it comes to symbolizing quality, craftsmanship and exquisite materials this automobile manufacturer is in a class by itself. The Spirit was conceived as a tribute to this very distinctive status.
Julian Bedel was determined not just to express the brand’s uniqueness in scent, but also to find a visionary way of realizing the fragrance. Botanical materials used in the manufacture of a Rolls-Royce would be cast in a leading role. The choice was soon made: the unique process used to tan the leather of the interiors. Natural ingredients distilled especially for this project resulted in an incredible elegant leather perfume with a strong presence. A nuance of oud and tobacco enter into a thoroughly symbiotic relationship with the leather accord, for a scent as uncompromising as the traditional motorcar itself.
Aficionados of rare artisanal fragrance creations can gain access to The Spirit at Spitzenhaus. It is now possible to enjoy the luxurious olfactory ambiance of the Rolls-Royce Motorcars brand without actually owning a Rolls-Royce. And another bit of good news: the perfume is far more affordable than its four-wheeled role model.
