Ys Uzac

VIncent Micotti, perfumer for YS Uzac, is known as a pioneer of olfactory artworks and as someone who strives to push the envelop of the art of perfumery.

Micotti was a classically trained cellist before turning his creative talents to perfumery - as an autodidact.

For the oud collection Vincent Micotti went on an artistic quest for the cultural origin of oud. The result was five fragrances across a broad olfactory spectrum based on the precious oil – each with a unique identity and artistic interpretation. The edition «VIncent Micotti x Teodor Curentzis» opens a profound dialogue between man and nature.

The cubistic trilogy consisting of «Game Palace of Hell Master Dawn / Night» and «Ice Palace» conjures up compelling scenarios in light, dark and intense cold. All of Micotti’s suggestive fragrance compositions act as resonance chambers for the abiding themes of time and emotional memory.
