The desire to disrupt
Guillaume Mantel and Charles Rousseau established Parfumerie Particulière in 2016 from a clear artistic standpoint: their fragrances would be the expression of an urbane, contemporary sensibility. The scents are created in collaboration with French perfumers Amélie Bourgeois and Anne-Sophie Behaghel, whose compositions have a highly unusual, sometimes almost experimental character – intentionally so.
The object itself embodies this aim: The glass flacons are a product of the traditional glass manufacturer Waltersperger and sculptor Francesco Passaniti designed the striking cement stoppers – minimalist, modern, with a touch of industrial flair.
Parfumerie Particulière does not seek to be just a nice-smelling accessory. The fragrances are a creative affirmation of cosmopolitism, with a considerable portion of willfulness.
