Le Galion
Timeless French elegance
In 1930, Prince Murat, a descendant of Joachim Murat—Napoleon I’s brother-in-law and King of Naples—founded the perfume house Le Galion.
The first fragrances created by the house were called Chypre, Indian Summer,
Champs de Mai, Il n’est qu’à moi, Fougère, 111, and 222.
In 1935, Prince Murat sold his company to perfumer Paul Vacher, who was already well-known in the industry at the time.
To mark the house’s 90th anniversary, Le Galion is setting sail once again and presenting a new collection of nine perfumes—one for each decade. This collection includes reissues of its greatest hits, soliflores, and prestigious new creations by renowned perfumers, once again paying tribute to luxury perfumery and timeless French elegance.
