Atelier Materi draws its Inspiration from the raw beauty of select raw materials and the subtle olfactory statement of the ingredients.

After twelve years working in cosmetics and fragrance product development, Véronique le Bihan decided to create her own sustainable luxury brand, one fully in line with her personal ethical, social and ecological values. Her guiding principal: to find a precise expression of the aesthetics of individual source substances. The result: a wonderful collection of eaux de parfum. Each of the Atelier Materi fragrances is centered on a specific natural ingredient. Whether traditional or unexpectedly modern, each of these raw materials is carefully selected from the best available sources and purchased under fair trade conditions.

In each scent the characteristic elegance of the individual “focus” element is subtly interwoven into the overall composition, allowing its special charisma to be expressed to the fullest. Véronique is convinced that the interaction, the craft skills of the human being, the perfumer, is what ultimately infuses a fragrance with spirit. Respectful resource management and an homage paid nature make every single one of the scents a total work of art.

The minimalistic aesthetics of Atelier Materi is rooted in architecture and modernist design, in which the materials in their pure form dominate. The flacon reflects the brand’s aesthetics and loving attention to detail, combining deep blue with a striking expression of minerals. The cap is made of molded concrete, a mineral-based material of minimalistic beauty. They are made individually by hand, polished and finished with an antique bronze patina. Each one carries the signature of its creature and is thus utterly unique.
