Skin research opens up surprising new vistas! For London aesthetic surgeon Dr. Alexandrides it even led into outer space. It all started when he decided to develop skincare products for use following plastic surgery.

His studies of environmental impacts led him to scientists researching the health and wellbeing of astronauts – on space missions the skin is, after all, subjected to extreme radiation exposure and changes in the gravitational field, causing it to age much more rapidly.
