The author of exceptional olfactory creations that have consistently enthralled the fragrance world for over 40 years, Rosendo Mateu is one of the major protagonists on the perfumery scene. As house perfumer for the acclaimed Spanish fragrance house Puig he developed countless bestsellers for brands such as Paco Rabanne, Carolina Herrera, Nina Ricci, Ermenegildo Zegna, Quorum and Etienne Aigner.

After decades of creative production for major international brands, Mateu now devotes a large share of his professional energy to the realm of custom-made perfume. In 2010, he became one of the few European perfumers to be awarded the honorary title Maître Parfumeur . 

In 2017, Rosendo Mateu set himself a new challenging goal: to create his own eponymous fragrance label. His collection Rosendo Mateu Olfactive Expressions Barcelona quickly confirmed the maître’s status as one of world’s best perfumers. Each fragrance is an olfactory masterpiece by a creator who has devoted almost his entire life to the world of scent.
