Founder Pierre, himself a musician, worked together with master instrument craftsmen to understand the feel and scent of musical instruments – essences of guitar wood, trombone brass, kora leather.  The sublime perfumer duo of Anne-Sophie Behagel  & Amélie Bourgeois combined these with sensuous, evocative perfume notes to create a truly exceptional fragrance collection. 5 talented musicians then carefully composed an original piece of music for each scent. This collaboration opens up a whole new dimension in perfumery, creating a multisensory experience inspired by a wide range of various musical genres. Influences from cool jazz, to fiery flamenco, from a rhythmic African beat to meditative Asian sounds lend the L’Orchestre fragrances a special timbre that appeals to the ears almost as it does to the nose.
